Triggermortis
A spooky game made out of a love for Halloween. The idea was to make a game for October within the month of October much like a self-imposed game jam and this was what was come up with! This game will receive more content updates, and polish down the line so stay tuned and enjoy!
Controls (Controller support will be added soon I just literally ran out of time)
- (A - Left) Move Left
- (D - Right) Move Right
- (Space - Q - E) Dodge
- (Shift - Ctrl - Down - S) Charge
- (Leftclick - Z) Shoot Projectile
- (Rightclick - X) Slash Weapon
- (Up - W) Switch side Scythe is held while shooting
- (Tab) Pause Game. (Game Volume can be changed here)
Extra Notes about controls
- YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR SCORE MULTIPLIER. IF IT HITS ZERO, IT'S GAME OVER
- Slash & Shoot can be held down to continuously attack. There's no need to mash
- Holding down the shoot button allows Morti the Cat to Strafe, holding the scythe to one side while shooting.
- Holding Charge then pressing either Slash or shoot allows morti to do a charged variant of either attack.
- Charged Slash: Does a spinning arc around morti. When fully charged, morti tosses the scythe forward giving extra range and more hits
- Charged Shot: Slows the bullet's velocity but when hit with slash, the bullet flies even faster than if it were uncharged. When fully charged, the projectile pierces through enemies
- Morti's dodge is invincible on startup.
- Pink Projectiles and bones require a charge slash to be deflected. Sucessfully doing so grants some score and multiplier
