Gather 'round, folk heroes! We’ve wandered out of the woods to give you guys a big update on what’s in the works for Cryptid Crush and the current dev plan.

When is the full game coming out?

Cryptid Crush will be releasing on a chapterly basis every few months. All of these updates, as well as the finished project, will be free to play as soon as they’re completed. All information about content updates will be posted here and on our Twitter.

How can we support you?

In order to fund the game, we now have a Patreon! Subscribing is not required, but by supporting us you can play new content earlier, get access to extra artwork and music, and even help playtest early builds! We also have a public Discord server that you can join here!

What's going to be in Chapter 1?

We're glad you asked! Chapter 1 is going to have lots more content than the demo, including several quality of life improvements and extra scenes where you can hang out with your favorite cryptid.

• New Bosses: There will be 2 new bosses, an updated version of the Madhouse boss fright, and a more challenging version of ALL 3!
• 6 NEW Hangouts: Outside the main campaign, there will be six hangouts with a mix of the main four. Eight characters will debut including but not limited to a Lovecraftian dream eater, a lake monster, aaand a stack of lizards.
• Quality of Life Improvements: We’ll be improving the battle system, updating UI with new artwork, and adding in some ‘Taro Tutorials’ so you’re not flying totally blind.
• Introducing Custom Dice: What are custom dice? They’re additional dice sets you can equip which change the look and the way you roll. If you’re stuck with bad luck and want to switch things up, these totally-not-cursed dice can help you out.

When is Chapter 1 gonna drop?

We don’t have an exact release date but hope to see it completed in spring. Chapter 1 will be a big bite into the main story and introduce a majority of the cast, alongside the six hangouts.
